The 20th Annual City of Hope Celebrity Softball Challenge is around the corner! Last year thousands of Country music fans joined together for this worthy cause - striking out cancer! Help us raise awareness about City of Hope's life-saving mission!

To date, the Celebrity Softball Challenge has raised over $1.5 million, with all proceeds benefiting City of Hope. Country music celebrities Carrie Underwood, named Entertainer of the Year at the 44th Academy of Country Music Awards, Keith Anderson, Vince Gill, Carrie Underwood and many others will step up to home plate on Monday, June 7, 7 p.m. at Nashville's Greer Stadium. CMA announced that additional artists were added to 2010 CMA Music Festival, held Thursday-Sunday, June 10-13, in downtown Nashville.

The daily concerts on the Riverfront Park Stage are one of the most popular events at CMA Music Festival, and this year's artist lineup is guaranteed to thrill the fans and continue that tradition. As previously announced, The Judds (Naomi and Wynonna Judd) will unite to give the Festival's kick off performance on the Riverfront Park Stage on Thursday, June 10 at 10:00 AM. The current daily artist lineups are revealed below in alphabetical order:

It's that time of year again! Keith is a part of this year's W.O. Smith School Birdhouse Thing fundraiser! From now until March 23, folks can bid on his house at www.opryauction.com. All proceeds benefit the W. O. Smith Music School, a nonprofit school that has been providing music lessons and instruments to Nashville’s underserved children for more than 25 years.

Country music fans may recognize Keith Anderson's hits like "Pickin' Wildflowers" and "Every Time I Hear Your Name."

They may have heard that the hunky heartthrob once was a runner-up in the Mr. Oklahoma competition.

Whatever fans know about Anderson, they'll learn about a different side of the star when he plays a sold-out show Saturday at the Columbia Theatre.

Anderson and country singers Brian McComas and Aaron Benward will take turns singing their own material, each accompanied by just an acoustic guitar.

Country singer Keith Anderson will be one of the headliners at this year’s Cherry Blossom Festival Street Party.

Cherry Blossom Festival Marketing Director Stacy Campbell said there will be six musical acts on two stages during the March 27 party, held on Cherry Street between Terminal Station and Third Street.

Tickets for the street party and all other festival events will go on sale Feb. 15 at www.cherryblossom.com and Mercer University ticket outlets.

The Cherry Blossom Festival starts March 19 and ends March 28.

Since Keith Anderson lost his mom to brain cancer in 2008, he has been driven to save other families from that pain, and his appearance at 7 p.m. Thursday at The Listening Room is part of that ongoing effort.

Songs for the Cure, a songwriters night to benefit fourth-grader Savannah Swandal, will feature more than a dozen of Nashville's most successful artists and songwriters. Swandal was diagnosed when she was 5 with Stage IV metastatic alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive childhood cancer. This is her third bout with the disease.
