Country music fans may recognize Keith Anderson's hits like "Pickin' Wildflowers" and "Every Time I Hear Your Name."

They may have heard that the hunky heartthrob once was a runner-up in the Mr. Oklahoma competition.

Whatever fans know about Anderson, they'll learn about a different side of the star when he plays a sold-out show Saturday at the Columbia Theatre.

Anderson and country singers Brian McComas and Aaron Benward will take turns singing their own material, each accompanied by just an acoustic guitar.

Country singer Keith Anderson will be one of the headliners at this year’s Cherry Blossom Festival Street Party.

Cherry Blossom Festival Marketing Director Stacy Campbell said there will be six musical acts on two stages during the March 27 party, held on Cherry Street between Terminal Station and Third Street.

Tickets for the street party and all other festival events will go on sale Feb. 15 at www.cherryblossom.com and Mercer University ticket outlets.

The Cherry Blossom Festival starts March 19 and ends March 28.
