KEITH HELPS HALFWAY TO HAZARD RAISE 200,000 FOR CHILDREN'S CENTER

Close to 25,000 Country music lovers converged onto a picturesque Crockettsville, KY farm for country duo Halfway to Hazard's 2nd Annual Halfway to Hazard Concert & Charity Trail Ride, a weekend of music, family activities, and ATV rides on August 22-23, raising just over $200,000 for Buckhorn Children's and Family Center, an organization committed to caring for suffering children in the region.

Set in the beautiful Appalachian hills of Eastern Kentucky, on a volunteer-built stage crafted from the cedar trees on the grounds, Country superstar Tim McGraw flew in on a helicopter to open the show, followed by a star-studded line-up including Keith Anderson,

KEITH ANDERSON KICKS OFF COUNTRY CONCERTS AT THE FAIR

Fans of all ages were able to catch a glimpse of Keith Anderson and his rollicking style of country music Tuesday at the Freeborn County Fair as Anderson kicked off the beginning of five concerts that will take place at the grandstand.

Anderson, an Oklahoma native, played a 90-minute set that featured his hits, “I Still Miss You,” “Pickin’ Wildflowers,” “Everytime I Hear Your Name” and a few songs he penned that other artists covered, including “Beer Run,” which Garth Brooks and George Jones covered, and “Lost in This Moment,” which turned into a No. 1 single for Big & Rich.

KEITH JOINS HALFWAY TO HAZARD CHARITY RIDE

Tim McGraw will appear at Halfway To Hazard's 2nd Annual Charity Trail Ride Aug. 22-23 in Crockettsville, Ky. James Otto, Randy Houser and Keith Anderson will hit the trails on this year's ride, which will travel along the East Kentucky trail system near Buckhorn and feature over 1000 ATVs and dirt bikes. Dierks Bentley and Danielle Peck will perform alongside Tim and H2H at the event's benefit concert, which helps raise money for the Buckhorn Children's and Family Center in Crockettsville, Ky.

KEITH ANDERSON TO REPLACE BILLY CURRINGTON AT THE WISCONSIN STATE FAIR

Wisconsin State Fair officials announced country music artist Keith Anderson will perform on Saturday, August 8th.

Anderson replaces Billy Currington, who cancelled after the stage he was performing on collapsed in Canada on Saturday. A 35-year old fan and mother died when the stage crumbled under high winds. Currington suffered a concussion and a black eye. His 33-year old base player was pinned under the stage and had to have surgery on his left arm.

Keith Anderson will co-headline with Jason Michael Carroll on Saturday, August 8.

Life is interesting for country music singer Keith Anderson.

How could it be any other way for somebody who’s touring the country, singing hit songs and meeting face to face with adoring fans?

“Anytime you travel and meet with fans, it’s great,” Anderson said Monday during a phone interview with the Star Beacon. “They have called radio stations and requested my songs. Now, I want to meet them and find out more about them.”

Anderson will perform at 8 p.m. Aug. 15 at the Ashtabula County Fair.
