Every August, an idyllic part of Americana comes to life as the village of Jefferson hosts the Ashtabula County Fair.

Like every other year, tickets went on sale Tuesday morning for the Saturday night entertainment.

This year, it’s country artist Keith Anderson.

He will perform at 8 p.m. Aug. 15.

Fans spent one of the coolest mornings of the summer standing in line to buy tickets at the secretary’s office, under the grandstand, to make sure they don’t miss out on seeing Anderson perform.
